Description
Our client belongs to one of the main Christmas gift supply groups. It has 35 production lines that ship 30.000 Christmas baskets and lots per day.
Its activity, concentrated seasonally, generated bottlenecks in distribution with a system based on reading barcodes with a gun.
When working with Christmas batches for companies, this created a time problem. All the orders they had could not be processed with the usual barcode method.
The company controls all processes from the reception of the raw material, emphasizing the meat products to which we apply an identification code to ensure the authenticity of the selected piece and quality of the product.
An RFID system has been implemented that allows processing 20 order to go from 1 minutes to 20 seconds.
