Description
Our client is an outsourcing company that has to adapt to the manufacture of products with very different sizes and shapes depending on the needs of its customers.
This randomness in the formats of their products was causing problems and delays in their production lines since their labeling system could not adapt functionally to that variety.
From the outset, the need was identified for an inkjet printing system with the flexibility to automatically encode production batches on products of any size, shape, and substrate . The system had to be portable and adaptable to any of the production lines without requiring installation.
The challenge
Implement an automated inkjet printing system with the flexibility to code production batches on products of any size, shape, and substrate so that coding does not slow down factory production.
The solution must be easily transportable from one line to another , so that it can be operating on different lines in minimal time.
The solution
Installation of 5 continuous inkjet (CIJ) printing systems in several phases, with staff training for their configuration for any scenario that may arise.
The systems are transported on wheeled carts and can be adapted to any production line in just a few minutes. Coding is done without contact with the product, at a distance of between 1 and 4 centimeters.
